Vogue Paris Fashion Festival

¿Si os dieran a elegir, cuál escogeríais vosotros?

The vogue Paris fashion festival

Lets start by saying that the event was thrilling, why? Read and discover it yourself.
We were there on the morning of November 9th and it started with an introduction from vogue Paris team and later met with Edgar huber, the president of the Coty luxury.

What is Coty luxury? Its a beauty company that makes cosmetic, skincare and fragrances so he mainly talked about the importance of targeting the right consumers and how the top 10 brands in the USA including Marc Jacob use only digital marketing. He was so happy that beauty is finally freeing itself and how gender identity is shaping the world of fashion.

Of course, he mentioned instagram! He and his team take into consideration that for an image or an ad that they’re making, the number one rule is that it should be instagramble! He also mentioned Tiffany, how the brand is creating new, affordable and up to date products while targeting festive days.
How innovative is it to keep up the brand’s DNA and still be in the game?
Then we had Koche & Atlien.

Christelle Kocher is the woman behind this mixture of streetwear/couture brand.
She studied in London and now has her atelier in paris. She believes in giving everyone a chance and she prefers talking to the person as opposed to looking at their CV while hiring. She is doing well in the US as well as Japan! She loves Japan !

So the story behind Koche and Atlien began in last Paris Fashion Week. She had her collection shown and the next day was Atlien’s turn! All of a sudden, Atlien got a phone call from his friends saying that koche and him had the same material!
Can you imagine that happening to you? Finally, Atlien dyed all of his collection over night and presented the following morning ! Also, He met Anna Wintour in New York and was featured at September vogue issue.

And it was the futurist Sophie Hackford’s turn. Sophie mainly talked about how the other Sophie aka the robot, took over her job last may in a conference. People seem to prefer robots instead of humans! She mentioned that in the upcoming years, everyone will have their own personal digital Sophie and they will do our daily tasks for us. They will hunt for jobs, write cover letters as well as submit the applications.

Tell me more about how lazy you want to be in the future? And finally, the women of the hour, Chiara Ferragni and Maria Grazia Chiuri (the creative director of Dior)
Wanna know how they met? Maria went and talked to Chiara in an event, because she wanted to know about this blogger that everyone was talking about. Chiara as charming as she is, talked about how shy she was at the beginning of her career, being one of the firsts bloggers, people in the industry didn’t take her seriously.. so that made her stronger and show after show she believed that it is her right to be there.

The majority of this talk was about the marriage of Ferragni and Fedez and how stunning were the 2 couture dresses that Chiuri made especially for her. One can see that they have this amazing bond together. Chiara described Chiuri as her mentor and how she was there in the alter making sure that everything was fine!

There wasn’t any official media coverage, as Ferragni wanted their family and friends to feel comfortable and put whatever they want on social media and it turned out super great! People actually compared this with Megan and harry’s wedding!
If you would choose, which wedding would you attend? Ferrangi’s or Megan’s?
The festival was sponsored by Swarovski
